Early One Morning
Early,
I park the car and watch.
Watch the waves mimic each other,
as they play chase to the seashore.
The sun is already high,
iluminating a yellow path over them,
and towards me.
I try to remember wave formation
I was taught over thirty years ago.
I can't.
So I just submit myself to its
serene beauty instead.
And wait for time to pass.

Serene moments like this are rare in a busy life. You captured it well. As you've already noticed by previous posts, I love the ocean.
